The mission of the Automatic Test System Division is to provide world class test systems for America's premier aerospace force. Our crowning achievement to date is the Versatile Depot Automatic Test System (VDATS). VDATS, a member of the DoD Families of Tester, is an open architecture test system wholly designed, built and managed by the USAF to support depot maintenance operations. The system is reconfigurable and adaptable to any electronic test requirement, which makes it suited to both the depot and intermediate level test environments. The modular design allows for seamless capability enhancement while maintaining stable configuration management. The modular software/hardware design also mitigates the risk/impact of obsolescence on test program set configuration management.
